The Mahoning Valley New Middletown Open Golf Outing is a nonprofit event that raises monies to benefit local charities.
The Mahoning Valley New Middletown Open Golf Outing was founded by Bob D’Amico in 1970. The golf outing was designed to give money or food to families during the holiday season. Mr. D'Amico has since retired from the outing. The current committee has been running the outing for the past 24 years and has been able to expand it into one of the largest golf outing in the area. The outing has been able to expand and benefit different organizations as well. The Mahoning Valley New Middletown Open Golf Outing committee is made up of Kevin Pushay, Floyd Crooks, Bob Pushay, Steve Fryda, Bob Mowery, Jim Johnston & Matt Mowery & Kevin Hawkins. Every year they attract over 140 golfers and raise $8,000 or more through the outing. |
